This day our backyard vista was Dana Point along the California coast; 3 days later it was Yosemite & 2 days after that we overlooked Lake Tahoe. Despite dramatic elevation changes,Traveling in our turbo diesel Winnebego seemed effortless.
This efficient RV (25.5 ft expands to 28.5 feet) accommodates 4 adults or a family of 5 very nicely.
Touring in Yosemite at 9,500 feet is breath taking, just like our sporty Winnebego, View -- with the Mercedes Benz turbo diesel Chassis & engine.
This 2 burner gas range works nicely when combined with Micro wave & convection oven (located above the range).
Double stainless sink is conveniently located on the left side of range.
Loft area above the driver's compartment works well as 75" * 49" sleeping area, accessed by ladder; this area can also be used for additional storage. Optional sleeping area created when dinette is converted to bed (42" * 74)
Comfortable & private sleeping compartment, with Queen size bed (75" * 60"); area closes off with door. There is a separate TV in this area, with limited area for clothe storage. This area is reduced at the rear by 30 inches, when traveling
The Winnebago 'View', powered by Mercedes-Benz turbo Diesel engine,expands to a 28 ft. unit when parked for use. People familiar with this particular unit suggest that it is the Sports car of the RV industry. A notable advantage is that the View achieves 15 to 16 miles per gallon (depending on your operation speed, the weight you are towing & if you are traveling on flat roads or mountainous highways). Our former 34 ft. class 'A' only achieved 6 to 7 miles per gallon. This unit was purchased new in August, 2017. Marvelous RV for traveling in the West (Zions, Bryce, Moab, Lake Powell, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, Arizona and Disneyland areas). If you are flying into Salt Lake, for a fee of $55 we will pick you up at the airport & return you to the airport on your way out of town. We include, at no charge: linens, pillows, blankets, toaster, blender, pans & outdoor chairs. This is a great way to experience RV'ing at its best.
