As motor homes go, this 24.5’ (nose to tail w/o bike rack) is incredibly easy to drive. At 8’1” wide, it’s simple to find places to pull over. The V6 Turbo Diesel engine in this LTV Serenity model is at least twice as fast at getting back up-to-speed, than our V6 Sorento was while towing a small trailer. If you’re intimidated by the idea of driving something this large, you’ll be quickly praising yourself for overcoming your fear. Just ask my 4’10.5” wife. The large windshield - with NO over-cab bunk-bed to obstruct the view - has been a photographer’s delight. You’ll also enjoy sitting higher than most cars. It gives a greater perspective and viewing distance while you’re traveling. INTERIOR: The best place to start is here, with your “hotel on wheels” experience. We chose Leisure Van, because of the space, thoughtful design and comfort. At 6’ tall, 180lbs, I can stand in the shower with ease, ducking in only a couple of places. The corner queen sized bed sleeps two comfortably, plus one adult (or two younger ones) by breaking down the dining table. (48 x 82), though it's best suited for singles or couples.
