The bench seat in the back cannot be used for children or car seats, it faces perpendicular to the direction of traffic and car seats are not made for that orientation. The seat is only there for comfort while parked. Off road/dirt road/beach driving is not permitted. The van is 2 wheel drive and does not have enough clearance for the dirt roads here.
