"No, I am your father... ahem van!" He is shiny, black, and ready for adventure! Darth Vander is one of our flagship vehicles and he is amazing. Made by the incredible VanDOit team right here in Kansas City, this modular custom van is ready for you to get on the road and Choose Your Own Adventure! The van siths (siths... hehe get it?) up to 8 people with 6 removable seats for more floor and storage space. It has a queen sized bed on a hydraulic lift which can easily move up and down so cargo can be placed wherever you want on your adventure. There is a single mattress that fits on the slide-out for a third (or fourth if you don't mind sleeping close) person and then 2-3 more can sleep on the roof-top tent with plenty of room for more people and animals to sleep on the floor. This is an amazing vehicle for friends and families to get out and see the Star (Wars... Sorry I can't resist...I'm a big old nerd). We usually have it set up to both seat and sleep 4. Darth Vander has a lot of custom features for your adventure including our favorite: The Espar Heater system that allows you to Choose Your Own Adventure for all four seasons. It is integrated with the van and uses about a half gallon of gas to keep the van toasty all night long. Interior Custom Features: - Full electrical system that works with shore hookups and recharges while driving. - Cold water pump from a 6 gallon tank that can be used inside or outside. - TV and DVD player that fold up out of the way when not in use. - Queen-sized mattress, single mattress, and a roof-top tent. Several people and/or animals can sleep on the seats or the floor. - An efficient Espar air heater inside to allow for all-season colder weather camping. - Bug screening to sleep with the doors open on those beautiful summer/spring/fall nights. - A retractable 8 ft. easy crank canopy for outside shade. - Interior dome and accent lighting to party all night long. - An MaxxFan Deluxe Complete Ventilation System for increased airflow. - Moisture and mold resistant insulation. - Passenger Swivel seat to turn the van into a living room. - Kitchen pod with sink and counter space. This is Darth Vander ready to sleep! We have lots more customizations coming to make your trip epic. To let you know what you are looking at we have a queen-sized bed up top, seating for 3 passengers (5 including the front seats that aren’t pictured), beautiful wood grain style flooring, and just peeking out between the seats is our gear slide “garage” which has room for storage or to sleep another 1-2 people. Oh, and don’t forget the Espar heater that is under the seat that is keeping me warm taking these photos while it’s below freezing outside.
To show a bit of the versatility, we pulled out a seat and put our electric cooler in that is running off the van's power to keep your food and drinks nice and chilly with no need for ice!
This has the bed leaf all folded up, the mattress stored away and the cargo panel installed. We are ready to hit the road!

This is no electric slide, this is a gear slide that holds lots of gear between the electrical and water cabinets.
Here is view of the full back area. The "garage" area below is where little van lifer sleeps on trips. it hold a twin-sized bed with a few inches to spare. The lighting in this image has dome lights, accent lights and the cargo light on over the gear slide.
