Towing Requirements: **Important: Our Airstream is equipped with a 2 5/16" ball (rated for 10,000+ lbs) with anti-sway hitch that will be used for all rentals. Your tow vehicle must have a 2" hitch receiver and 4,300+ lb towing capacity. The trailer is leveled for a standard F-150 hitch height. Owners of taller trucks (F-250, F-350, RAM 2500/3500, etc.) will almost certainly need an additional lowered hitch receiver (i.e., Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2" Hitches - 11" Rise/Drop - 7K) to tow the trailer leveled. The hitch extender must be rated for 7,000 lbs GTW and 700 lbs tongue weight for secure hauling.
