This one-of-a-kind 2024 Newmar Canyon Star 3947 is a Class A Toy Hauler with a power bunk house and a front-end diesel (FRED) engine. The 340 HP Cummins B6.7-liter diesel engine has you ready to visit all the outdoor adventures you have on the family bucket list.  Just drop the rear ramp on the Newmar toy hauler and ride your motorcycle(s) and/or ATV(s) through the hills and valleys of New York’s Catskill Mountains or Texas Hill Country. When they get low on gasoline, use the 18-gallon ‘Pony Tank’ with nozzle handle to fill up the toys without leaving your location.   

The Allison five-speed automatic transmission is harnessed to the sturdy Freightliner MC 340 Chassis for a smooth ride while listening to all kinds of music on the 9” Touch Screen Xite AM/FM Dash Radio with Apple Car Play and Harmon sound system to boost your favorite tunes.

From the cockpit to the garage in the rear, this 2024 Canyon Star 3947 is loaded with the features and options to help you make the most of the outdoors, including the armless power patio awning with strip lighting. The second 9” color dash monitor with audio offers excellent rear and side camera views and a Nav-N-Go navigation system to help guide you from one adventure to another. There’s even a central touch screen panel in the main cabin which allows you to control functions throughout the coach, including lighting and air conditioning.  

Bunk House for the Kids

Measuring approximately 10 feet in depth and just shy of 8 feet in width the toy hauler garage has a rubber diamond-plated floor with tie-downs to secure your toys, plus recessed floor mounts handle three removable poles which attach to a table top for convenient snacking and dining in the air-conditioned (13.5M Penguin with heat pump) comfort of the garage when the sofa bench seats are lowered into position. If you crave more of an outdoor living experience, leave the ramp down and use the power screen at the back of the garage to keep out unwanted insects.

A pair of dropdown queen-size beds on a power lift hug the ceiling during travel, and with one button push descend into position as a sofa/bed for the lower bunk, and a full-queen bed for the upper berth. There’s also a Samsung 32-inch LED TV and an AM/FM radio with DVD player and two ceiling speakers inside the garage and two speakers outside to complement the additional Samsung 32-inch LED TV and AM/FM receiver located in the exterior compartment.

Whether you want a full-meal prepared on the two-burner induction cooktop with covers, or just a quick ‘zap’ from the Whirlpool microwave/convection oven you have everything you need for mealtime.  The two-door Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer with icemaker stores your food at the perfect temperature for the duration of travel.

Before you know it, this Newmar Canyon Star motorhome sleeps as many as 7! A second 15M Penguin A/C unit with heat pump in the living/sleeping area will help give those in the front of the coach a restful nights’ sleep, unless they stay up late watching the Samsung LED TV’s mounted above the booth dinette and in the front overhead.    

The mid-coach bathroom is easily accessible from both ends of the coach and it has a comfortable sit-down shower that delivers endless hot water thanks to the Trauma Aqua Go when it’s connected to a freshwater source.
