This 2022 OVP Shasta 170 is a professionally built, fully off-grid capable 4x4 Sprinter van designed for extended travel, full-time living, or serious adventure use. Built by DriveOVP in 2023 on the highly sought-after Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 chassis, this van blends rugged capability with refined interior comfort.

With only 31,520 miles, this diesel-powered 4x4 platform is just getting started and is equipped to take you anywhere year-round.

This van is thoughtfully designed for two people to comfortably live on the road for weeks or months at a time, with the flexibility to expand sleeping and seating capacity. An Alpine Van Works double bench-to-bed system can be added at no cost, allowing seating for four and sleeping for up to four.

The interior layout maximizes both space and functionality. A queen-size Murphy bed provides a comfortable sleeping area while allowing for versatile daytime use. The custom-built closet integrates a Laveo dry flush toilet, offering a completely odor-free and private bathroom solution.

One of the most innovative features is the in-floor convertible shower system located just inside the sliding door. The shower pan is built into the floor and paired with a magnetic curtain system to fully contain water, providing a practical and space-efficient bathing solution.

The electrical system is built for true off-grid independence. A massive 1000Ah lithium battery bank is paired with a Victron 3000W inverter, second alternator, and 300W of solar, ensuring reliable power for extended stays without hookups. Climate control is handled by a Nomadic 12V air conditioning system and a Timberline heating and hot water system, making this van comfortable in all seasons.

Additional premium upgrades include Van Compass 4.3 suspension, 32-inch all-terrain tires, Backwoods front bumper, Tanner roof rack, Owl Vans rear storage system, and a 1Up bike rack, making this van equally capable on rough terrain and long highway journeys.
