Stock #501028 -

Mid-bunk design! Great for a home office! Loft! Fireplace! Theatre Seating with Heat and Massage! King Bed! No Road Use! 4 Seasons!

The 2022 Brookstone by Coachmen 398MBL is a luxury fifth wheel designed for travelers who want generous residential space, upscale comfort, and a highly versatile floorplan.

Measuring approximately 42 feet 2 inches in exterior length, this wide-body fifth wheel uses a four-slide layout to open the interior into a roomy, home-like living environment. Its mid-bunk design makes it especially appealing for families, remote workers, guests, or anyone who wants a dedicated multipurpose room in addition to the main bedroom and rear living area.

Inside, the 398MBL has a warm residential feel with a rear living room that serves as the main gathering space. The large opposing slide areas create an open lounge with comfortable seating, an entertainment center, and a fireplace-style focal point that gives the space a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. The living area is built for extended stays, offering enough room for family movie nights, conversation, or quiet downtime after a day of travel.

The kitchen is one of the strengths of this floor plan, combining residential-style function with the storage and counter space expected in a premium fifth wheel. A central island provides convenient prep space and helps separate the kitchen from the living area without closing it off. Stainless steel appliances, solid-surface-style work areas, generous cabinetry, and a full dining space support longer trips and full-time-style camping. The layout is practical for everyday cooking while still feeling open enough for entertaining.

The mid-bunk room is what makes the 398MBL stand out from more traditional rear-living fifth wheels. Positioned between the kitchen/living area and the front bedroom, this separate room can function as a guest room, children's room, office, hobby space, or storage area. Above it, the loft adds another flexible sleeping or storage zone, making the coach well suited to larger groups or owners who want separate living zones within one RV.

At the front of the coach, the private suite provides a comfortable retreat with a king bed and wardrobe storage. The bathroom is positioned for convenient access and includes a large shower, vanity, toilet, and residential-inspired fixtures. Together, the bedroom and bath create a practical owner's area that supports both weekend travel and extended living.

From a construction and capability standpoint, the 2022 Brookstone 398MBL is built as a substantial luxury fifth wheel.

Exterior and comfort features help reinforce the Brookstone's luxury identity. The 398MBL is offered with weather-protection features such as insulated and enclosed utility areas, heated tanks and gate valves, dual ducted air conditioning, two power awnings, large pass-through storage, and automatic leveling.

Its combination of residential interior design, flexible mid-bunk functionality, and substantial four-season-oriented construction makes the 2022 Brookstone by Coachmen 398MBL a strong choice for families, extended travelers, and buyers who want a fifth wheel that feels more like a mobile residence than a basic camper.
