2021 Melbourne by Jayco (24L) - Class C Motorhome in Riverview, FL

Travel in comfort and style with this 2021 Jayco Melbourne 24L, a compact luxury Class C motorhome built on the highly desirable Mercedes-Benz 3500 Sprinter chassis. Measuring just 25'2" long, the Melbourne is easy to maneuver and comfortable to drive while still offering an impressive amount of interior living space thanks to its large slide-out.

Under the hood is the Mercedes-Benz 3.0L V6 turbo diesel, producing 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, paired with a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission. The Mercedes chassis features a 170" wheelbase, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, cruise control, power windows and locks, heated remote-controlled mirrors, keyless cab entry, and a 220-amp alternator. A 5,000-lb. rear hitch receiver also provides additional versatility for towing.

One of the biggest advantages of the 24L floor plan is its spacious interior. The large slide opens up the coach to provide a U-shaped dinette, rear walk-around queen bed, full kitchen, and bathroom, while the cab-over bunk supports up to 750 lbs. The driver and passenger seats also swivel around with booster cushions, becoming part of the living area once you've reached your destination.

The kitchen is fully equipped for traveling with an 8 cu. ft. gas/electric refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, convection microwave, stainless-steel sink with cutting-board cover, flip-up countertop extension, decorative backsplash, water filtration system, and plenty of cabinetry and storage.

The full bathroom includes a shower with a decorative surround and skylight, a stainless-steel sink, a foot-flush toilet, and a powered roof vent. In the rear sleeping area, you'll find a queen bed, large wardrobes, and bedroom TV prep.

Comfort and entertainment are well covered with a 13,500-BTU air conditioner, 30,000-BTU ducted furnace, 6-gallon gas/electric water heater, LED living-room TV, Blu-ray player, digital antenna with signal booster, cable hookup, and satellite prep.

Outside, the Melbourne features Jayco's StrongholdVBL vacuum-bonded laminated roof, floor, and sidewalls; fiberglass exterior construction; frameless windows; electric stabilizer jacks; a slide-out awning cover; an exterior utility center; an outside shower; black-tank flush; and an electric patio awning with LED lighting.

It's also ready for travel without hookups, with an Onan 3,600-watt LP generator, 30-amp electrical service, solar prep, a 12V house battery, a 12.2-gallon propane tank, heated holding tanks, and an LP quick-connect.

The cab is well equipped for longer road trips, with a Sony infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus backup and side-view cameras to make maneuvering this motorhome easier.
