Only 15k miles! All original including the propane lamps and linoleum flooring. A unique piece of RV history! This won't last!

This 1966 Dodge Chinook was one of the very first the company made. First produced in 1938, Sy and Rose Mair in Orange County, California. Chinook was among the oldest U.S. brand names in the RV industry. The release of this Chinook Mobilodge was in 1967 as the first self-contained class A's in the company's history. It sits on a Dodge chassis with a Chrysler 318 A, V-8 engine used in the old muscle cars of the day.

This particular unit was being used and lived for the last 15 years by a retiree in Huntington Beach, CA. The current owner, a friend, is now selling. He has driven the Chinook up the coast to get her refurbished. Now he is finishing up with the spark plugs and rebuilt carburetor.

This unit has a lot of amenities for being only 20 feet. There is a full bathroom with a separate shower stall and sink. The water capacity is said to be 40 gallons with a water heater per an old spec sheet.

The one modern conveniences is a microwave. There is a nice stove with three burners and an oven. The kitchen also has a large refrigerator and s a double basin kitchen sink. Across the aisle is a booth-style dinette that can also convert into a bed.

This very well-maintained, vintage RV will still need some TLC but definitely is a great option for local travel and camping as it will fit into all of the state parks.

The Mobilodge can sleep 4 comfortably, so bring the family on a journey of their lifetime! But be prepared for on-lookers. This will definitely be an eye-catcher.
