If you’ve come this far, it would seem that you’re trying to plan an adventure and are checking to see if this Adventure fits your adventure. Let’s explore and see if it’s a good fit. The Adventure is a 2021, Thor Axis 24.1, Class A, Motorhome. Breaking it down: • 2021 tells you this is a new model with the latest features and least use. • Thor is the #1 Motorhome brand in North America and builds 1 out of every 4 motorhomes sold each year. a variety of sizes and floor plans. • Axis is a lineup of RV’s that Thor calls ”RUVs”, Recreational Utility Vehicles and it’s a good description. They are easy-to-drive with a ton of amenities. • 24.1 is the floorplan description and it is a great layout with seatbelts for 5, flexible sleeping options and a smaller size makes it easier to maneuver. • Class A means it’s at the top of the RV food chain. The Class A’s are fully equipped for any adventure on and off the grid. • Motorhome means it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a vehicle that can tow a camper trailer because you climb inside and drive it! When you first see the Adventure, you can’t help but notice the large windshield, looking out you have an amazing view of everything in front of you. The view is pretty spectacular and lets you see everything along the journey. The Driver’s front bucket seat is powered letting you get just the right seat position. The outside mirrors are large, and the wide-angle mirror and side-view cameras eliminate blind spots. It also has a backup camera that helps when backing. The front seats are comfy with drink holders and the passenger side has a flip open work desk so you can bring a whole new meaning to “Work from home”. The sofa faces the door and the main TV (yep – there are 2 TV’s) and has 3 seatbelts. It opens into a sofa bed and easily converts back to a couch when you’re ready to hit the road. Above the front seats an overhead bed drops down with a ladder to make getting in and out. The kitchen has a deep sink with a pull-down sprayer faucet; a 2-burner cooktop; a convection microwave and a fridge/freezer. It has plenty of overhead and lower storage space throughout the camper. The bathroom has double doors that can open up to make the area so much larger than a typical RV bath. It has a corner shower, sink with vanity, medicine cabinet and linen storage. The tankless hot water heater is great. As you head to the back of the RV you find the main bedroom. The 24.1 give you several options for the bed. You can have 2 twin beds with walking space between them or make it into a King size bed. You second TV is mounted in the main bedroom. You have a lot storage in the main bedroom, both overhead and below. Some of the upgrades The Adventure has are: • Built-in Onan Generator that runs off the RV fuel tank so there’s no hauling extra gas. It can power the RV if you’re off the gird. You can start the generator from inside the RV or on your phone using the App. • Yep. It has an App. The app will let you control everything in the RV (lights, climate, slideout, stabilizer jacks, awning, generator and more). If you don’t want to use the App there’s a touchscreen inside that makes it quick and easy to manage everything. • Solar Power for those times when you can’t use the generator at night. • Front privacy screen and curtains. • A huge back storage compartment along with others on the sides. • 2 TV’s with BlueRay DVD players and an HD Antenna Wondering what comes in The Adventure? We’ve got you covered. • All the Hookup Connections (Water/Electricity) • A coax cable in case your campground has cable • Drive on wheel levelers / wheel chocks • All the Connections to dump the waste holding tanks • Clean mattress pads for the beds • A full set of kitchen gear available at no extra charge. There are several options available: o A Kitchen Kit  Silverware for 4  Spatula & Cooking Spoon  Can Opener  Measuring Cups & Spoons  Kitchen knives and cutting board  Hot pad o A Dish Kit  4 dinner plates  4 smaller plates  4 bowls  4 Coffee cups o A Cooking Kit  Skillet  2 saucepans  Colander What you’ll need to bring: • Linens (If you’re traveling in to pickup the RV we can arrange a linen kit – see below for more details). o Sheets/Sleeping gear for the beds o Bath towels/Kitchen Towels o Outside gear (lawn chairs, etc.) Cleaning & Sanitizing We fully understand the need for a clean and sanitized RV. We use a professional, bonded cleaner to clean and sanitize the RV between each trip. • We replace the mattress cover(s) after each trip. • The Kitchen utensils and silverware are sealed so you’ll know they are clean & ready. • Dishes are also cleaned before each trip. Training: When you book the RV we’ll send over an email that will help you prepare for your trip. The email will: A. Have a link to the Adventure Guidebook that will let you start learning the systems and use of the RV with links to training videos. B. Have a link that will let you book your pickup time. C. Have links where you can request any Kitchen or Linen Kits you want. When you pick up the RV we’ll do an in-depth walk through and then we’ll take a test drive to let you experience driving the RV. We want to make sure you’re feeling comfortable and confident before you hit the road. When you’re on your trip you’ll have the Guidebook as your first line of tech support but you’ll also have my cell number for anything you need help with. Understanding Mileage and Generator Hours As a drivable RV there are some additional expenses that go along with the nightly rental rate. One is mileage. We include 150 miles a day free with your rental. If you’re going somewhere close that’s not a problem. If you’re headed on a long road trip you can carry-over your daily free miles. For example: If you book a 4 night rental and you drive 200 miles the 1st day and then spend 3 nights at a campground and then drive back 200 miles it would look like this: 4 Nights @ 150 Free = 600 Free Miles 200 Miles to your destination + 200 miles back = 400 Mile There would be no additional mileage fee since you are under your 600 Free miles. If you take a longer trip any mileage over the allotted free miles would be charged at .50 cents per mile. The other variable is Generator Hours. You would use the generator in several scenarios. 1st, if you are camping off the grid with no electrical hookups (it could be as exotic as Yellowstone or as local as a NASCAR race). In that case the generator will run everything on the camper. 2nd, if you are traveling in hot or cold temperatures the RV Climate system can run off the generator. You do have air conditioning and heat in the front driver’s area but it may not be enough to keep the whole RV comfy while traveling. One other reason you might use the generator: if you stop at an Interstate Rest Area for lunch and decide you want to heat up the leftover Spinach and Artichoke Dip from dinner the night before you start the generator and use the microwave! If you’re headed to a campground with electrical hookups you won’t need the generator (unless you need to heat up some dip…). We include 4 hours of generator use per day free. Just like mileage, the daily allotment is summed up and the actual usage is deducted from that allotment. Generator hours in excess of the allotted free hours are charged at $3.00 per hour. Fees. Let’s be honest – nobody like fees. Period. We really don’t like them either, and we try hard to not have them. No fees for “prep”, or cleaning (unless you bring it back dirty) and no fees for kitchen gear. Here are the optional fees we have. Linen Package: If you’re traveling in from out of town we do offer a linen package. Emptying the waste holding tanks: If you don’t want to deal with it we’ll take care of it for you. Delivery: We can either bring it to you so you can get a jump start on your trip or we can delivery it and set it up at your location. Wondering Why to book with us? There are several reasons that we think make a difference in who you rent from: First off, we love camping and love helping people experience camping, especially if it’s their first camping trip. We’re happy to answer all your questions and help you get this camping thing figured out. We’re committed to making sure you’re comfortable and confident before you head out and be available for support when you’re on the road. Second, we’re good at what we do. We’ve taken care of over 600 renters and know what it takes to make your camping trip a great one. Third, we’re easy to deal with. If you need something out of the ordinary, we’ll always try to accommodate you. And remember, we don’t believe in extra fees, there are no prep fees, no cleaning fees and no other “dream up a fee to make it look cheaper until we add in the fees” fees. Our goal isn’t to have you rent from us once - it’s to be your Go-to for all your camping experiences. Let us know if you have any questions or want to come take a look at the RV before you book. Thanks, John
