Roadie, a 2013 Roadtrek Motorhome 170-Versatile Class B Motorhome, is a conversion van based on the popular full-sized Chevrolet Express 2500 Van with an efficient 4.8 liter V8 gas-operated engine requiring only regular unleaded fuel, and a heavy-duty six-speed Alison automatic transmission. In addition to being a self-contained camper vehicle, he can tow up to a 6,000 pound trailer, support a 1,000 pound tongue weight, and features a Towing Mode and an electronic brake controller. Averages 18.3 miles a gallon of gas without a trailer being pulled. Features a flushing toilet, permanent wardrobe and storage cabinet, 2.8 KW Onan MicroLite generator, electric leather power sofa which converts to a bed for two, gas furnace, heat pump, air conditioner, refrigerator, sink with running water, microwave oven, bossy aftermarket wheels and a 19" LCD TV with a CD/DVD player and decent stereo sound system, even with as subwoofer. The aisle shower concept in such a small space was not really viable, so I have removed the shower curtain. However, the removable shower head (on an extendable hose) can be used to take sponge baths in the camper van.
