We do not recommend using the awning during the rental period. The awning is NOT covered by insurance and if you choose to use it and it breaks the repair cost will have to be deducted from the deposit money. Also there is no dirt road or back road towing with this unit. The tires on this trailer are road tires and are not designed for use in rocky and or dirt roads.
