Today&#8217;s featured city guide is Sante Fe, New Mexico.\u00a0 Read below for everything you need to know before traveling!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Where to Camp<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sante Fe is famous for its blue skies and nearly year-round warm sunshine. This combination of great weather and gorgeous views can be enjoyed from many of the areas local campgrounds. Check out three of our favorites below.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafeskiesrvpark.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sante Fe Skies RV Park<\/a> &#8211; Sante Fe Skies RV Park sits right in the heart of the Sante Fe mountains, on 17 acres of beautiful land. This &#8220;Big Rig friendly&#8221; RV campground is family built, owned and operated. There are 98 total sites, with 55 pull-thru sites designed for large motor coaches and travel trailers. There are also 32 back-in sites. All sites come with 20\/30\/50 amp electric, and most come with water and sewer. This RV park is located just off the scenic Turqoise Trail, giving you easy access to major shopping malls, restaurants, and historic villages. While you&#8217;re at the campground, you can enjoy free Wifi, clean laundry and bathroom facilities, and of course the panoramic sunrises and sunsets.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-uppercase\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rancheros.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground<\/a> &#8211; If you want to camp close to Old Town Santa Fe, this campground is perfect for you. Located right on the Historic Route 66, this 22-acre campground has open and wooded full hook-up sites for large RVs, trailers and vans. Features of the campground include a large playground, hiking trail, laundromat, free wifi, and cable TV for the full hook-up sites. There&#8217;s also an enclosed dog run, and clean restrooms with hot showers. A stay at this gorgeous campground is sure to make your New Mexico experience unforgettable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/capulinrvpark.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Capulin RV Park <\/a>&#8211; Looking for an adventure? The Capulin RV park is just 3 miles from the Capulin Volcano National Monument &amp; Visitor&#8217;s Center. This quite and peaceful RV campground has 20 pull-thru sites and 10 full hook-up sites to accommodate RVs of all sizes. The unique location will put you just 3 hours drive from Sante Fe and 4 hours drive from Albuquerque and Denver, Colorado.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>What to Do<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/skisantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ski Sante Fe<\/a> &#8211; Now open! This beautiful ski resort is located at the end of the New Mexico State Highway 475 in the Sante Fe National Forest. Now that total snowfall this winter has reached 30&#8243;, nearly all of the parks ski lifts are open.\u00a0 Lift tickets vary in pricing by duration and age, and special discounts are available for active and retired military. This resort hosts many events throughout the winter, including live music and skiing programs!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palaceofthegovernors.org\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palace of the Governors<\/a> &#8211; You&#8217;d be remiss to visit Sante Fe without exploring some of the city&#8217;s historic museums and cultural staples. The Palace of the Governors was originally constructed in the early 17th century for the Spanish government. The adobe structure has since been turned into the state&#8217;s history museum, and was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1960 and American Treasure in 1999. Current exhibits at the museum include everything from the history of cigars, to iconic figures, religious history, archaeology, treasures and more. Admission is free on the first Friday of the month from now through April, and children 16 and under are always free.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/visitcanyonroad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canyon Road<\/a> &#8211; Sante Fe is famous for many things, with art being at the top of the list. While you&#8217;re visiting Sante Fe, be sure to take a trip to Canyon Road, just east of the Sante Fe Plaza. This street is filled with art galleries selling world-renowned artwork from artists such as Fernando Botero. You can also observe and purchase cultural treasures such as hand-woven Navajo rugs and Southwestern wood carvings. There are over 50 galleries along the street, showcasing everything from jewelry to sculptures and paintings. There are also plenty of restaurants along the road to keep you fueled all day long.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Where to Eat<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Breakfast &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemaven.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Chocolate Maven<\/a>: Chocolate for breakfast? Sounds pretty sweet. This award-winning bakery and cafe is a local favorite for cappuccinos, breakfast, brunch, high tea, and of course, desserts. They are open for breakfast Mon-Friday 7am &#8211; 10:45pm and the bakery is open seven days a week. Breakfast favorites include the nutella waffles, blue corn blueberry pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and more!<\/p>\n<p>Lunch &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/palaciosantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palacio Cafe<\/a>: Open everyday from 7:30am &#8211; 5:00pm, this friendly cafe is known for its family atmosphere and delicious food. The menu is mostly mexican-influenced, including enchiladas, burritos, and a great selection of paninis and soups. The most popular dish (by far)is the green chile stew, a New Mexican favorite.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantrysantafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Pantry<\/a> &#8211; Since 1948, The Pantry has been serving quality, fresh-from-scratch comfort food to their loyal customers. Homemade desserts and nightly specials are just a few reasons people have kept coming back for over 60 years.
