Smile Tow Vehicle question - FORD F250 Diesel

I am looking to buy a new (used) tow vehicle to pull my 34ft Surveyor tt. I have driven 2 - 2006 F250 Crew Cab Turbo Diesels. The one thing I noticed is on both vehicles the steering wheel would shake around 65mph. Internet searches found that FORD had some shimmy, shake, etc problems, but you read a lot on the internet.

Any of you driving 2005-2006 F250 trucks experience this? Thanks for any feedback.

My Dad has had F250 - 350's as long as I can remember. I have never heard him complain of shimmy problems.

He has a 2009 F350 for sale if interested
