towing honda accord with 40 allegro bus diesel

do you really have to stop every 150 miles and put the automatic transmission through all 4 drive gears for 10 seconds each twice in order to avoid overheating the automatic honda transmission and ruining it?

if that's what the honda manual says, than yes, you have to. Or they will not honor the warantee...

You may be able to get an aftermarket pump installed which will overcome that. There is a company which specialized in that, but I don't remember their name. But its been mentioned at least 20 times in these forums.

the pump is made by Remco towing. However if you call them and tell them it is a Honda they will tell you that you don't need anything to tow a Honda. They are so sure they will even sell you an insurance policy if you are in doubt. Check it out.
