water is spraying from drain faucet, does entirer tank needs to be replaced for 550.00 or more or just a 10.00 faucet oh yea the tank is like 10 years old

Hi vincent, give us a little for information, is it a Atwood or Suburban, is it 6 or 10 gal, is it a pilot model or DSI or is it both electric & LP? Are you talking about the drain valve? If so I try removing the valve an installing a drain plug. Most water heater live to an old age of 20 or more. Good luck. :) :cool: :bleh:
